Introduction

Towards the end of the 20th century, mobile phones began to modernize. With the introduction of the “candy bar" cell phone, mobile phones’ capabilities significantly improved. With these technological advances, mobile phone games also became increasingly sophisticated.With the advent of the camera phone cell phones became more common. The storage and graphic capabilities of these phones were better than the older candy bar style phone which meant higher quality games could be produced.

There are some interesting trends in the gaming issues.It’s a relatively small increase but women now account for 47% of U.S. gamers, up from 42% in 2012.  In short, the gaming population is becoming more and more diverse, and developers have taken notice.  Older gamers are also fanatical (29% of gamers are over the age of 50), though one interesting trend is the creation of game communities specific to older gamers.

 

There are common concerns that more teenagers addicted to video game.To overcome worry about video game play is to play with your kids as much as possible.  Parent have to understand what learning and cognitive ability might be emerging from something that just looks like useless .

Also, parent need to choose games play them yourself!. Your kid will love you for taking the time to understand their passions.  According to the Entertainment Software Association only 35% of parents play games with their kids regularly (at least once a week), so this is definitely an area parents can explore more thoroughly.

It might be hard to believe, but when printed books became widely available parents and other concerned adults complained about kids ‘escaping into other worlds’.  It happens with just about every new medium that comes along: it becomes the scapegoat for all concerns and problems in our society.The explorations of kids in play spaces can actually help develop their creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Nowadays,the computer is the necessity for our daily life as the the advancement of the technology,especially for the learning usage.One of the example is the e-reader which is small,portable,and convenient which is suitable for the fast-paced lifestyle.

An e-reader, also called an e-book reader or e-book device, is a mobile electronic device that is designed primarily for the purpose of reading digital e-books and periodicals.

Any device that can display text on a screen may act as an e-reader, but specialized e-reader designs may optimize portability, readability (especially in sunlight), and battery life for this purpose. A single e-reader is capable of holding the digital equivalent of hundreds of printed texts with no added bulk or measurable mass.

 

 

 

 

 

The pros and  cons of using e-reader

This is a useful tool for teaching and learning instead of the publishing textbook prepare the curriculum effectively. It will show the context with clear guidelines in different colors to be more user-friendly. People can still read the teaching materials  and books in anywhere.

Use of a light-emitting electronic device (LE-eBook) in the hours before bedtime can adversely impact overall health, alertness, and the circadian clock which synchronizes the daily rhythm of sleep to external environmental time cues, according to researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) who compared the biological effects of reading an LE-eBook compared to a printed book. These findings of the study are published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on December 22, 2014.
